Located in the southwest part of Loveland, CO, this cute ‘mountain’ is the smallest peak in the front range, at a short height of 5,269ft. The trail up to it is literally a 5 minute walk, next to a golf course, but there is an additional trail going along a small ridge east of the butte, about .8 miles point-to-point. Hogback Trail goes through the golf course, but still ends up being a beautiful hike. Even just going to the Mariana Butte summit is incredible. Such a short walk to see a vast view of the Front Range from the east.

I just did this one for the first time the other day and it was actually really neat!
That’s awesome! It took me over a year of living here before I realized it exists. A Loveland gem.
